The helmet is an HJC FS-10... fit is amazing and it has built in drop down sunglasses which are awesome. Only thing is with the visor cracked open it screams and IMO does not have enough air flow with it closed

I find it funny how all of us are doing everything to save on gas but getting rid of the gas guzzling jeeps, drink bought a bike, I just bought a prius, what's everyone else doing to combat the gas prices?

I'm following up with David now... I expected to have most, if not all, of the stuff by now, but I'm still waiting. I'll keep you posted.

I'm glad to hear that your ankle's doing well - hang in there, and let me know when you want to show me that trail near you this summer.

I'm experimenting with my Hypertech and various settings/octanes to see if I can net any extra bang for my buck. Oh, and I'm trying to work from home at least 3 days a week, to save on gas.

I didnt buy a bike for gas.... believe me the gas is no where near ofset by the cost of the bike + gear + license + class + risk or injury. The bike is a fun thing I've always wanted and know once I'm married I wouldn't be able to buy a first one. I am really thinking of not taking a new Jeep when I go to court though. Amy and my dad are trying hard to get me to buy something better on gas.. 22,000 miles a year is a ton and at $4.XX a gallon averaging 18 mpg it will cost me close to $5,000 a year. Remember the bike is only good in the summer.

Update: Rec'd my gears today, and David told me that my lift kit shipped today... and the Shrockworks will ship pretty soon.

I'm probably not going to be on the forum much for the next week or two because I have to go in for surgery on Tuesday... I'll be out of commission for a week or two afterwards, but hopefully after that I can get my mechanically-inclined friend to help me with some installation work!

I'll talk to you guys/gals later - take it easy and happy Jeepin'!

Thanks DMM
- I appreciate the offer. BTW, I never got your #, so PM me some time and I'll save it. In case I don't talk to you before it happens, best of luck in your arbitration hearing with Chrysler! I hope that they make things right, even if you end up dumping Jeeps altogether in favor of gas $$$.

How's everyone doing?

Chopper - have you been riding your bike to save on gas, or has it been too chilly so far? Any more mods to your Rubi?

JKSahara - any new bling on your JK?

RedRubi - did you get to go wheeling at all this weekend, now that you're healed up?

adgraybda - welcome back to CT. Collectively, we know a few spots in CT and in MA... but FYI, we don't talk about them openly anymore because anything we post is public, and any idiot with Google and a 4x4 can go tear things up and ruin the spots for all of us! Hopefully you'll be able to join us sometime for a day of wheeling!

Here's a big Jeep wave for all of you - take it easy, and think good thoughts for me on Tuesday AM!
