All I can say is that my 2DR with Bilstein 5100's was darty, flighty & bounced with 30 psi on 33" Mickeys. I recently added Daystar l.c.a.'s and she drives like stock. I also added a Bilstein HP stab. good luck, love those DC wheels. Time to log off.., GO B'S

Thats pretty much how mine is. I have the x flex upper and lower control arms with Heim joints front and rear. I thought it was the springs but the dealer I bought the lift from says shocks. I will do some looking around before I purchase them.

Trying to find out some info on the Rancho 9k's that are adjustable.

If I recall my l.c.a.'s were dialed at 5.5. My mechanic stated this setting was good for tires ranging between 33" & 35" tires. Nevertheless, your set up seems a bit more intense then my 1.75" coil spacer lift. But these short wheel base 2DRs seem flighty with any lift. Good luck.

I'd definitly replace the shocks. I had a 2.5 inch RC kit with the 2.2 shocks and they leaked really bad causing the Jeep to ride like crap. It was bouncing so bad that it would bounce the back end off the ground on hard mid corner bumps and kick in the stability control. I was so disapointed with the RC lift I took it off and put on a 2.5 inch Teraflex coil kit with their shocks. It was a huge improvement and has held up well. When I took the RC shocks off I could cycle the shock just by pointing it to the sky or pointing it at the ground letting gravity do the work. If you replace just the shocks I'd recommend Bilstein or Old man emu. You can't really go wrong with either. Both brands get great reviews from the guys on here using them.
