MASS Thread
Huh? I don't remember saying that, but I guess I could have.
I went up to All Wheels Offroad park in ME a few weeks ago w/my wife, beat the hell out of the jeep, and she gave me a blank check so I wouldn't damage it so much next time!
Ripped off the fenders (almost), and the tail pipe (completely). Scratched the hell outta the wheels.
All the parts (wheels, tires, 5.13s, lift kit, maybe axles) should arrive at Dr Wheels in the next week or so, so we hope to have the work done by July 4th. I may order some xenons this week, too. The rear fenders are hanging by a thread.
Gas tank skid is smashed, but I can't seem to get excited about any of the under armor out there.
We also put 31's and a 2" BB with pocket fenders on Leslie's jeep. It looks awesome.
We'll catch up soon...

In case you missed it in the "what was done" thread.
I haven't measured the actual lift yet (too busy wheelin' it), but it kicks butt on the trail.

I wouldn't worry about bending or breaking an axle. If you have 44s, it's rare, and if you don't, just don't drive it like you stole it. I came down pretty hard off obstacles a few times the weekend it happened.
Most axle probs are from being stuck in the mud, oversized tires, skinny pedal to the floor, then one wheel breaks free and the other doesn't. SNAP! You should have already been strapped to your buddy's jeep by then, not trying to get out alone.
If you break an axle on a JK, your wheel won't fall off, you just won't have power to that wheel the rest of the day, but you can still get home.
Rear axles are installed. Still waiting on the rear 5.13s.
