MASS Thread
Bought it because I pulled out 70 trees last year and cleared a large section of land. I also built a 40 foot stone wall last year and brought in 80 yards of loam. Now I use it to clear further my lot and maintain the fire road. 50 tons of Graded base so far this year. Busy Busy Busy, I'm just a very lucky guy as my wife let me get it. At first she was mad and now she is asking me to use it for her idea's like planting 12 trees in the next two weeks and installing more walls along the shore edge.

we need one of those to tackle the back yard, we're at the bottom of a hill and everyone up the street cleared there back yards in the last 5 years. Now when it rains we have our own mini swamp. The past two year we've been through 12 yards of dirt.
If it's cleared land already then it might be worth getting a bulldozer and spread the piles as they come in. 2 houses ago I had to bring in 200 yards to even have a lawn. I rented a large JD backhoe and it still took over a week to get all of it spread. I tried like heck to keep up with the 18 wheelers I just couldn't spread it fast enough. Wish I could of rented a bulldozer but they asked for a permit.
It doesn't look like anyone's posted here in a little while... so, I'll ressurect the thread.
I'm a newbie from western Mass, I just got my JK in October... it's my first Jeep and I'm wicked excited to get her broken in properly. I've never driven off-road, so I'd like to find some patient people to help educate me in off-road basics. I'm a pretty quick study, though, so it hopefully won't be too painful a process...
Or, just romping in the mud is okay, too!
Thanks!
