I bought my 07 new there and I figured if I brought it back to the place I bought it from they'd cut me some slack. I had been there before with mods and had no issues. The last time I went there, I went for my warranty inspection and I had leaking pinion seals, cracked manifold, alignment off, dash lights on, you name it. I didn't have time to get it all cleared before I brought it in. They said they'd send my info to Jeep and let them decide if my warranty would be honored or not. They said I'd hear back from Jeep on it which I never did and the next time I brought it in to a different dealership, they said I had no warranty anymore. That's all I know. I never did get around to fighting it.
whatever... the only things I wanted covered were my motor, tcase, and tranny. Those are the only things I haven't modified. If the motor dies one day I guess its an excuse to upgrade??

I know a few really small places in Lee which is on the other side of Westfield toward Otis but I can get a friend of mine who has been tearing up trails to tell me his spots. Or better yet ill join him next time and post a meeting spot if y'all wanna join
I know there is dispute on the legality of this trail as some claim to have permission or others say "well, no one stops us and everyone goes there". But this trail is still listed as illegal/off limits by the NEA (Northeast Association of 4wd clubs) due to it being private land with no written agreement in place to wheel it.
So FYI...I'm not saying don't go. Just want you to be aware that there is always a risk that you go there the day the town/land owners/police decide to show up too. However, if you know the landowner and you have permission, have fun! I've never wheeled it myself but I did go there once as a passenger before I bought my Jeep and knew what I know now about trail use in MA.
The only two legal spots in MA worth going to are Mabel and Old Florida Road. Krawl Daddy, I believe, is going to be doing a wheeling 101 day at mabel sometime soon. Great trail. Can be done by a stock vehicle if you take the easy lines and more built rigs on 37's can find significant challenges on the harder lines.
There are a couple of other unmaintained roads in the Berkshires that are legal but they are more dirt roads than trails. Other than that, unless you are on private property and have been given the approval of the landowner to be there, you shouldn't be there.
