I got sucked into Somerset Jeep, by a low quote. wanted to order one just the way I wanted it...they said they found the "almost exact" one that I wanted, at Millbury Jeep. They assured me they could add the connectivity group..they added uconnect. with a cheesy button glued onto the dash, remote usb in the glovebox. no EVIC! now I will be paying for 70 more months..oh well. I can change enough of the features by doing the steering wheel dance.
Do you remember any good trails in the Kingston area?

While a fun little spot (from what I hear
), that is private property so it's illegal to wheel. My club used to do land clean-ups there a long time ago but were told that the land actually has something like 40 different landowners now and we couldn't go there anymore including for land clean ups. I know tons of people in Jeeps and dirtbikes still go but there are definitley times when police are out and about looking for people trespassing. They don't ticket you...they impound your Jeep. So be careful if you continue to go there.
The other spots you mentioned are unknown to me but there are no legal public spots anywhere in the area. If you have permission from a landowner, that's a different story but, again, I caution you to be careful if you are out there without permission.
I know a bunch of people go to Freetown but I don't consider that wheeling as I've driven those trails in my wife's CRV with no issue!
Unfortunately, those of us in southeastern, MA have to travel at least 2 hours to find a legal wheeling spot. A tad less if you are in a club and have access to private land. Hopefuly things will change and we can get some local landowners to open the door for us but we need to make sure we aren't out there doing illegal stuff as it makes future deals much less likely to happen.

Both beaches require separate permits at a minimum of $160. Absolutely no driving through the dunes though. I'm on Sandy Neck all summer and the local police and park rangers don't allow driving anywhere but on the beach near the high tide markers. Also there is a list of equipment that you have to have to get the permit and anytime your out there. They can give you a $50 fine for not having it. If they really want to, they can ticket you for not airing down your tires.
