NE shops doing Hemi installs
I guess I could do that. I kept getting seduced looking at the AEV website and thinking maybe I could do that sort of thing. This, of course, begs the question that I hardly wheel enough to justify it. How much power do you need to basically cruise around town and wheel once a month 6 or so times a year? Probably me just being silly deluding myself into thinking I'm like WOL. Hence, the lithium....

Heat,
Todd at Endangered Species is good people if you don't arlready know him. I'm thinking you could do the install yourself though. There are kits available to do your own swap. Way overpriced in my opinion for the kit. But, it supposedly is easy to do verus making everything yourself.

Guys, Are there any issues with passing state inspections with a hemi swap?
I used to be heavily into modding LS1 variants... from what I recall, there were certain states in the country where owners would hit problems getting an inspection if the computer was showing a motor that was not originally installed in the vehicle. (Say, running a chevy 6.0 truck ECM in a LS1 5.7 Camaro).
I figure with Mass being so close to Cali's style of laws, and both being so strict on emissions.. a hemi would be a no-go here. Am I wrong?

I know that in NH, the swapped motor has to be from the same manufacturer and it has to be the same year or newer. So the Hemi swap would be no problem. If I wanted to use an LS1 though that would be a no go.
