Spring trail run
Just thought i would throw this out there and see if we can all get something tentatively planned for this spring, plus judging by how long it took to get our last run together this is prolly a good time to start thinking about it and gives us something to look forward to, and im just itching to get on the trails again.
so i guess just chime in on a date you think we should shoot for
i was thinking end of March first week of April, hopefully there wont be so much snow left that we still wouldn't be able to go, shouldn't be by then
also i was thinking maybe shoot for Tolland for this first one as there seems to be a few new additions to the NE crew, that im sure wont want to do anything to crazy their first time out.
what do you all think?

x2 on Tolland - Westfield was a LOT of fun, but probably too challenging for most newcomers... plus, I'm not sure I could make it out of there 2 times without busting something major, and I don't really want a big repair bill right now!
As for dates, I've been up to Tolland in early April, and there was actually a decent amount of snow on the ground, and the water crossings were pretty high due to melt-off... still fun, but again, don't want any new Jeepers to be too scared. Also, people should know straight off that they'll probably drive away with some trail pinstriping... the overgrowth will make the (already tight) trails tighter.
I'm cool for any weekend in April (can't do first weekend in May 'cause I'll be out in Chicago).
I'm totally up for it!!
At this point, my schedule is such that I can do either Sat or Sun without much of a problem. It isn't like our AHL team (Springfield Falcons, who I produce for local radio) is going to the playoffs, seeing as they're in LAST PLACE in ALL of the AHL!
I won't have any of my mods done, but I ran stock last summer and it was okay. My profile pic shows the water crossing, so if anyone who hasn't been there wants an idea, there it is.
It was summer, and probably not as much water as we may have with a spring thaw, but it gives a slight idea, anyways...
Oooh, I'm giddy now. This weather is almost worse than 20 degree weather... it's warm enough where you get the "bug", but not warm enough to drop the top.
