One question though - is this trail stock friendly?
Cool! That would bring us up to five jeeps.

My buddy has a stock '06 Sport and he had no trouble. The pix from last trip give a pretty good idea of the terrain. I've even seen pix of a pickup truck doing this area last November and it was pretty muddy. It will probably be pretty dry this weekend.

Default Bump.

Just confirming. We'll be there between 11 and 11:30 Monday AM and will wait a bit for anyone who has said they'll be there. I'll have the CB on ch. 4 just in case. My cell doesn't work there, but PM me if you want the #; it will work for most of my trip out there.

Talking Good times - thanks!

ScottCarp, JeepJunky -

It was cool wheeling with you guys and your respective families... the wife and I had a lot of fun, and wanted to say thanks for a nice Labor Day. Look forward to seeing pics when you guys get a chance to post 'em, and will definitely join you again sometime for another run - good stuff!

Thanks again!

We had a blast too, and it was great meeting you guys in person.
I didn't take too many pics, but I'll post the ones I do have today or tomorrow.

Thanks for a fun day, and hope to wheel again with you all soon!

Default Not many, but a few pics...

I know scottcarp will come through with some better pics. The only ones I took were when we stopped, and I didn't get many action shots.
Anyway, here are a few, and there are a few more in my gallery:

It was a great time with some great people!

I think it's safe to say everyone had a great time.
On the way home, my nephew kept saying "So where are we going next weekend?" This was his first time off road, and he's psyched to bring his TJ next time.
There's a few more pix in my gallery, plus some from the May trip.

I was waiting to see your pics, then forgot to check the forum for a couple days... now I see you already posted the pics and I'm a week late!

It was definitely a fun trip - stock-friendly, with a few spots where you can really challenge your Jeep if you feel like it (or bypass those "tough spots" if you're feeling lazy). Good trip! Thanks once again for organizing this Scottcarp!

Default NOW it rains!

Thanks, MJS. I can't wait to do it again. Maybe October.

My nephew called today:
Me: "Hello?"
Him: "It's pouring out"
Me: "I can see that"
Him: "Know what that means?"
Me: "What?"
Him: "We gotta go back this weekend!!!!"

Well, I've got too much going on the next few weeks, but Tolland would be great after the rain we got today.
