Trail ride
no kidding, you must of laid on it on thick with the, "I'm a student and I have $20.00 bucks to my name" Just kidding I'm glad this is all it will cost you to get the pan. Did you also order the gasket for when you remove? It is possible the other one will not survive. Tighten after a few hundred miles again to make sure the bolts stay nice and tight. Good to see this work out for you.
Where you able to bend back the original until you find a replacement skid? I wouldn't go and get a stocker replacement, just save up for one of the aftermarket ones or bring the stock one to a fab shop and get one made up for a little less money.

Jeez! I'm glad I didn't go! I would've mudded my pants on half of those obstacles!!!
Especially knowing I don't have the $$ for any repairs! (Well, I'm sure I could've dealt with an $11 tranny pan, but having to pay for fluid would've been another story

Your lifted... you would have been fine. Jeb was bare stock with the smallest tires available on a JK and was unscathed. You would have made it over where JD got hung up. His wheelbase and lack of height got the best of him.
so what am i looking at here for work, just drop the old pan, inspect the inside, clean out the new pan bolt her up and then fill from the dipstick tube, didn't see another place to fill, so if there is some one please enlighten me.
