Well thanks for the warm welcome everyone. You guys sure know how to make a fella feel like one of the gang. Can't wait until Thrusday. That's when it is supposed to roll into town. Then the all out assault on the bank account begins. Will post picks as soon as possible.

Yes, things went well today. It's amazing how different two dealers can be. It took two days for Allen Samuels Jeep to do what Mike Smith Jeep couldn't/wouldn't do in two weeks. If anyone in this area wants info on who NOT to buy a Jeep from, PM me.
On to the good stuff. I promised pics, so here are some from it still on the lot. More to come when I've done some mods.
09 Det. yellow Rubicon with everything BUT the Navigation... I'm doing my own.
Soft top boxed up for the dual top group>
No explaination needed for this one.
Now it's time to get to work. ..... and who has some OEM half doors to go with my soft top?

Tires, wheels, lift, maybe a winch. I figured you have a winch and since we will be wheeling Moab with ya, we'd sponge off ya.
Eventually, a winch and real bumpers and tire carrier are on the list. It's been so long since I have done any "Jeep building" that I have lost touch with how much it costs. Dayum! Some of those parts are X-spensive!
This Jeep is gonna stay mild though. It has to take Mom back and forth to work in a skirt or suit. So, it can't be too high. And it rides SOOO nice right now.
But, I'm thinking about a full off-road conversion to the YJ. A coil-over shock conversion with Tera 60Rs would be a nice addition to it.
