...and back to Jeep I am.
Hello, My name is Paul and I love Jeeps....
The first Jeep I owned was a 98 Wrangler Sahara. When I returned it at the end of the lease we ended up leaving with a 2001 Grand Cherokee.
At that point I inherited my Wifes' mustang (6 Cylinder - HATED it - no power). When it was time I purchased my Current Vehicle. Two Years and 21 trips to the shop later it's being bought back as a lemon.
I tried driving other cars and I couldn't see myself happy in any of them. So I decided to go back to my fist love. I just got a 08 Wrangler Rubicon and I could not be happier. The best part is, since we no longer have the other car (and we BOTH quit smoking - $550 a MONTH) we could afford to replace the 2001 Grand Cherokee with a new one. So I have now been the owner of 4 Jeeps (Actually 5 last night we bought my 5 year old that little Barbie Jeep - the battery powered one that they can actually drive).
As a matter of fact I have had it for 4 days now and yesterday I almost rolled it coming down a steep incline at a very steep lean to the right. I'm not sure how I got out of it but it did save me from a verbal lashing from "the boss".
The FIRST day I had it, I took it out for a spin in the hills and there was a LARGE pickup stuck. I went over and asked if he needed help. He didn't think I could. He told me about how this big F150 just spun his tires and dug a hole in the dirt. I said, "Let me try." Hooked him up and put it in 4L. 5 feet later he was free. He looked shocked. He couldn't believe my little jeep could haul him out like it was nothing.
It may have almost 200 less hp but it is in a class of its' own and the fun never ends.

I am so happy to be here. When I had my 98 I never did find any goups. I also lived in Irvine and Santa Monica. Never did get to use it for its' intended purpose.
Now I have somewhere to play and I am STOKED!!
