I second the adjustable arms.... Gonna absolutely need it to adjust caster after a 4" lift. Otherwise deriving that thing will be like a wrestling match

What lift you recommend? I dont want to spend 2000 on tires then 2000 on the kit then 2000 on bumber..hahah

There are tons out there with a million options to choose from. Some quality kits are: Rock Krawler (what I have), Teraflex, Currie, Clayton, JKS, Old Man Emu, Evo, AEV etc...
Lots of guys will piece together as need from various manufacturers dependent on needs also. Kinda what I did.
These damn things get expensive fast once you start adding goodies.

Ahhhhhhhhh man. I was trying to see how long it would take for someone to mention that. ahh that brings my lift kit from 600 to 1200 lol. Do i have to have longer and adj control arms? :crybaby:

Front lowers is all you really need. It makes the Jeep handle so much better. I put front upper and lowers on yesterday and will do the rear tomorrow. Big difference on the ride quality.

Exactly right

Since your not going to be wheeling much"yet" lol.. You should consider a 2.5 on 35s it eliminates or reduces issues on the drive train and the need for adj control arms and the 35s are good on the 35 even while wheeling and it still has a agressive look. Sorry for the people giving u grief... But give it a year or so and the offroading bug will hit you and you ll then start planning trips to places with out roads and Moab .. Fair warning

I say , go back to hot rods . sounds like your only concern is how it looks .I don't know why you own a Jeep if you never go wheeling . You need to show that kid what the great outdoors is like , not how to stick out in a crowd with big tires . Another poser .

Dumb Ass comment

How much that gonna cost me?

One rule that everybody learns about jeeps is it stands for just empty every pocket

AaronJK 04-27-2013 12:30 PM

One set of lower control arms will cost from about 170 to as much as 400+. You'd probably be fine with the less expensive ones as you don't "intend" to do any rock crawling or anything like that.
