Greetings from San Jose, California!
This site has been a great resource. I have owed a CJ-7 and a YJ, in the past; now have a 2009 JK, and love it!
I search this site for answers, and have been very successful:
1. Turned off auto-door locking
2. Disabled the horn beep upon locking with key fob
3. learned how to make a tailgate hold open strut
4. Chimed in about welders
5. Read a lot about side steps - then made my own (will post pics later)

This is defintely the place to get the best info and post pics of those steps when you can.
