Default Hallo JK Forum and

Welcome to my Jeepworld!!! Which is somewhere 47° North and 15° East
I hope you'll like it, our 2-Jeep household will really try to entertain you
And if they're broken, I just steal the wifeys allroad quattro (in my opinion the better grand cherokee for the roads)
Enjoyed the TJ 4.0 during the last 13 years, but it develeped some sort of unreliability during the last year or so
Well, the JK, it won't stop the rock but for now I'll try to rock it stock
Bought it last Friday and with all the chipped paint it came with Rubicon rocker guards and wheels/tires (Silent Armor), Mopar steering/swaybar skid and tow bar (3500kg), A/C and cruise, stainless mesh behind grille, ......oh yes, it's sunburst orange

Default Thank you very much for your welcome notes!

Already needed to do some "work" on the JK.

The front inner fender liners (that stiff plastic stuff) were kinda loose and it seemed as if a plug or nut was missing on each side.
Found an inside-threaded sleeve with 10mm hex head, that matched the stud I could see through a hole in the plastic liner. Added a washer and some thread locker and voilá, the fender liners don't hang down anymore, but still can move about a little bit.

And then I noticed the front and rear parking lamps on the right hand side wouldn't work (they did last week, when test driving) The rear bulb was good, so I checked the fuse block, and found a burnt 10A fuse where there should be a 15A - although the 10A looked like the other factory fuses So maybe it was there from the beginning?!?!?
