so here are some pics from the install and the finished product.. installed the y-pipe, 3.5" AEV lift with high steer kit and front geometry correction brackets, Hellwig rear sway bar, Hard Rock 4x4 oil skid plate, Terraflex highlift jack mount. and 4wheel parts installed the tires. all took about 18hrs in total. just need to get an alignment that is scheduled.
You will find that oil changes become fun when you have an oil/tranny skid on. Typically you have some spillage regardless of how well designed a manufacture thinks that little access door is. One option is to install a Fumoto valve at your next oil change. I would advise that the F106N does not leave a whole lot of clearance between itself and the skid.....a good finger's width or so. That skid will indeed bend in a bit if you like to lean it on rocks. I would suggest the F106S that has the short nip connect. Just get some random tubing from the store, direct it to a container, and flip the switch...which by the way has a little safety. Watch your old oil drain in to said container and everything stays clean.
