Hello from SD
Hello, a new wanna-be member in South Dakota.
I'm looking to trade in my current F-250 for JK Unlimited. I love my truck a lot, and it's be awesome while camping and hauling stuff. But it's not exactly meant for wheeling around the Black Hills.
I've been a huge fan of 4-door wranglers ever since I saw the extension kits for the older models in a Dupont Registry Mag.
Biggest problem is finding one around my area. There's a few around here, but the dealerships aren't willing to work out a deal. Guess I'll just have to break down and drive to Denver.
My current dream JK is a Dark Green with 6spd manual 4x4 and Freedom Top. I've pretty much planned out all the accessories, but have hit a wall on some items. Mainly what rims and lift kit to go with.
I'm looking for 17"s and possibly going 33" but have a feeling 31" would be better for gas mileage since it will be my daily driver.
I currently have a Cage Offroad kit on F-250 w/ 35"s. I'm not too impressed with Cage though. I ran into a issue while installing the springs and tried to call them, but no one answered.

Welcome to the Forum! Check with Teton Motors here in Jackson, Wyoming. They have a few on the lot and I did see a dark green one, maybe it is still there.
