Default I should've bought a Jeep 14 years ago!

I never knew how hooked I would be and I have only had my Jeep for two months. Just Empty Every Pocket is Right! 2013 Wrangler Sport with NO BELLS and NO Whistles. Just plain stock. I can't wait to make this Jeep look and perform like some of the jeeps on this Forum. BUT I need advice. For two months I have done research on the type of tire package to put on and came up with the Pro Comp 7069 at 16" and I want Mickey Tompson's at 35". This is where I need advice! I need to pair the two together but don't know how! I don't know what size tire to get because I am completely an Amateur. HELP! Also, I read the forums and though I can build million dollar homes from top to bottom, I never lifted a Jeep but I will give it my best shot with a 30pack and some buddies. 3" too much? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

with 16 inch wheels go with 315 75 16 tires , close to 35s . as far as lift why not a 2.5 inch which would be plenty of clearance .... but trim your fenders anyway cus it looks cool . the higher yougo with the lift the more likely you run into issues with driveline good luckand welcome

I plan on doing some trail runs but not as hardcore as a lot of the other jeeps. I definitely want to put my jeep to the test though. Her (her being my Jeep) name is Redemption...because I bought my wife a prius and I traded in my nuts with it. But I finally got rid of my commuter and have a Black Hardtop beauty. I have difficulty pairing my tires to the 16" pro comp 7069's. I have heard mixed reviews regarding the tire size and manafacturer. I am interested in the BFG KM2's but im not sure they make a 35" tire??? I called around to some shops and some say they do have them and quoted me $1533 for 5 BFG KM2's at 285/17/16??? Can anyone simplify this? I am expecting to pay roughly $2,000 for 5 tires and 5 rims. I am going to lift the truck myself with a lift kit but also had questions regarding the warranty. I heard if anything goes wrong with a part the dealer will stick it in your @ss and blame it on the lift because Mopar didn't do the work. Then to make matters worse I have a 6 month pregnant wife nagging that she can't get into the jeep if it's lifted...guess I have to get a nerf bar!!! I can't wait to post pictures of the project! Thanks to all who help me! Happy New Year!

Some dealers may give you grief for the bigger tires.. but, some are cool and won't. Depends on where you go and how nice you are

I could be wrong, but I believe there is a bigger selection for 17" wheels and tires than with the 16's.
Additionally, (possibly wrong here as well) I think a 285 width tire doesn't go as tall as 35", just to 33"

It's a Jeep, not a truck

I got a hell of a price on 17x9 pro comp wheels and 35's from Brian over on the sponsors thread. No one in Omaha could come close to what he gave them to me for. They came mounted, balanced, and ready to go. Hit him up and tell him what you want and I'll bet he will do you right. I also agree with 2.5 being a good height. I did ALOT of research on my kit and read what had to be every thread on this board. Now I can't stop building and I just started.
