Default Never been happier with a new vehicle.

I recently bought an 08 Jeep green 2dr X 4x4 auto. Absolutely love it. I crossed over from the world of full size pick-ups and there's something about the Jeep experience that I can't explain. I guess it's "a Jeep thing" and you have to experience it to understand it. Most of the people I talked to about it before buying were a little skeptical. Even my wife who drives a Grand Cherokee wasn't sure but after she rode in it she loved it. I have to admit I miss the space the pick-up offered and i still leave way too much room in the rear when parking but I'm getting used to the fact that my vehicle fits in a parking space now.

It took a couple of weeks but I finally got some waves. Missed the first couple and was too late waving back. Almost none of the Jeep drivers near the local colleges will wave but once I headed a little out of the city I got waves from almost 100% of the Jeep drivers I passed. Told my wife and now she's upset because the Grand Cherokees don't get waves. I thought it was funny so I told her I'll wave at her from mine if I pass her.

Welcome to the forum! I know just how you feel, my daily driver is still a full size truck and the JK is my wife's dd. I find myself stealing her keys more and more, the JK is just so much fun to drive!!!

Welcome. I know what you mean about loving a Jeep. It happened to me too. Now I find myself just staring at my Jeep I'm sure my neighbors think I'm a freak or something.
