Default New to the Forum and the JK lifestyle

Hello all, I am new to the Forum and just picked up my first Jeep. It is a 2007 JK and will be used mainly off-road. Got the bug since both of my son-in-laws are building Taco’s but I have an F250 and dont need another pickup. I like the way the Wrangler looks and wanted to buy American. Not sure where to start with the build so I’m here and on YouTube to get ideas.
I already know I want to go with 37”s which will require a gearing change and want front and rear lockers, need to start with recovery gear and armor. Glad there are forums like this one packed with great people to share their experiences and knowledge.

Sounds like a great start.... most of us had to build in stages! But if you have questions about products or how to... use the search bar! It will help you narrow the results!

Looks good!

Been building on mine for 125,000 miles, the list goes on a little at a time. Just be sure to do your research. It's a lot better to buy once than to back track and rebuild.

Happy Jeeping!

Take note of the lists myself and Bora Bora have in that thread. Not everything needs to be done at once, but keep those things in mind so that you can plan a realistic budget without constant surprises. Welcome by the way! You'll have a ton of fun in that jeep.
