The new guy!
Hello everyone I am happy to finally get on here and make my first post. I am originally from Muleshoe Texas but I am in the Air Force stationed in Germany. I bought my first Jeep about a week ago and I picked it up today! being that my whole life I have been a Ford guy I have always drove an F-150. But this past winter my F-150 didn't do so well since it wasn't 4x4. I started to look around and I ended up selling the truck and buying a 2009 Wrangler X sport. The guy worked with me on the price selling it to me for 19,000 dollars. It has 12,000 miles and came with the hard and soft top. For my first Jeep I think I did well. After I sold the truck I ended up with about 2,000 dollars left over after paying bills and what not. I want to upgrade some stuff on the Jeep but I am not sure where to start. Some people say wench and bumpers and others say lockers and tires. What do you guys think?

Congrats, and welcome!!! I guess your next move depends on what kind of driving you plan on doing with your Jeep. New wheels and tires that fit under stock suspension can still eat up most if not all of that 2k. Bumpers are a nice way to add utility and set you Jeep apart a little. I wish I had done a lift right away and wheels and tires next. I still have yet to pull the trigger on a lift.
