Sounds good minus the drive it till it breaks part!
I went ahead and ordered my front and rear bumpers. There e-auto's after reading up on them I made the choice to get them.
I purchased this style front:
And there regular rear no tire mount.
With a 3" lift on a two door you should be fine, most people start to worry around 3.5". Even at that point most of us drive the stock driveshafts till something breaks lol. Since you live in Florida you should look into one of the Ocala trips during the year. Maybe even jeeptoberfest.

Just head east on Palm Drive. When you are directly behind the track look for the dirt road that heads south off of Palm. There are a bunch of turns you can take off that dirt road. They go from Palm down to Card Sound.
