Hello, just another new owner here. Picking up a new 2012 2-door Sport S tomorrow, Flame Red. Really looking forward to it, even though it'll be my wife's daily driver. She's wanted a Jeep for a loooong time, finally getting it checked off her list. Already she's been googling where to take it off-road and shopping the net for Jeep stuff. We've found this site very helpful so far. Thanks!

Jeep has a lot of great colors, but red was top of our list. Also, it was equipped just the way we wanted. Good thing we went when we did, looks like Jeep dropped Flame Red for 2013, ours is the last 2012 6sp red they had. It's a soft-top. Curious about your assumption though, hard vs. soft was the decision we flip-flopped on the most.

Soft top all the way. I got tinted windows for it. Not knowing the 2011 had a larger rear window than prior years. So had buy another rear window. Mines toasty in the winter and top down during the summer. I live in Washington so it can rain anytime. I can always put my top back up to keep things dry. Not with a hardtop. Most sport s ive seen came with hardtops a/c and better wheels ha . Good choice on soft top.

Great pictures! Love the shot in the snow. I know ours will see a lot of action in the snow (well that's if mother nature cooperates and gives us a bunch of good storms). I'm still trying to wrap my head around tire sizes. At this point lift kits and big tires are down the list. We are probably sticking to easier rides for a while.

Nice. No need to rush into any mods. Take your time and figure out what interests you. Don't be surprised when you change your mind A Jeep can be enjoyed at any mod level. And Welcome!
