Default New Wrangler Unlimited in Eastern PA

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I am originally from western PA but currently reside in eastern PA...more specifically Bushkill, PA. I am new to my Stone White 2010 Wrangler Unlimited but not to this forum. I've been lurking on this forum for about 2 yrs now trying to find a reason not to buy a JK (obviously, I couldn't find one). I've wanted a Wrangler since the JK came out (actually earlier than that...back to when it was first a concept that I believe they called the Jeep Rescue??). Anyhow, I am now proud to say I'm an owner of one.

My last vehicle was a 2004 Nissan Titan Crew Cab that I had a love/hate relationship with. I loved the power, the look and the space I had in the Titan but hated all the problems and warranty claims. Every problem the Titan was known to have I had...rear end replaced, front end replaced, brakes, tranny lines, timing chain, sensors, fuel gauge, radiator (you get the picture) and too many more to recount. All this with less than 60,000 miles. With my warranty about to run out I finally decided to pull the trigger before I had any further problems. Hopefully, I will have a better run with the jeep!

I found this wrangler at a dealership in Scranton, PA. It came with a dealer installed 3" lift, 35" Good Year MTR's on XD series wheels and Bushwacker fender flares. I will post some pics asap. I actually already have an issue with the jeep due to the cheap Redi Lift installed by the dealer (I will post more about that in the appropriate category). I was also surprised by the lack of power with the 35's so I purchased a Max Energy programmer from Hypertech to begin my performance mods and am planning a gear change in the near future.

I want to say thanks in advance for all the help this forum has and will no doubt provide me in the future.

Nice. I'm jealous. Lets see some pics. I have an '08 Stone white Unlim X and love it. Although I bought mine stock and with 2 kids, the mods are taking forever. You're already way ahead of the curve. Enjoy jeep and forum and lets see pics.

I hear ya...I'm married and have a 5 yr old. Money is definitely tight! Thats why I jumped all over this deal. I probably could've done the mods to it myself alot cheaper but I didn't have that kind of money laying around. But by purchasing it already done I wouldn't miss the money all wrapped up in the payment. It's sad I know, but what can you do?

You're from Pottstown...thats not too far from Rausch Creek offroad park. I was there 2yrs ago for a Titan meet. Watching the jeeps crawl through the rock course there was pretty amazing! If you've never been there I'd highly recommend it. It's well worth the trip.

I go up as often as I can. I started wheeling there with my company truck. A 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe with Pella logos all over it. It did great, and now I am hooked. I am going up for the RC EJS on 4/2-4/4. Sign up if you can make it.

I see in your profile you have a street bike. Do you mean motorized, if so, what do you have? If not, I know nothing about the ones you pedal. Sorry.

I figured being that close you had. This sounds like a good time. I will check my work schedule to see if I can make it. Thanks for the invitation.

I do have a mountain bike but I was referring to my motorcyle. I own a 98 Triumph Speed Triple. Love it but don't get to ride it enough!!
