Default New X build up

Hello folks.

Here is my plan starting in June. Please comment on choices and relative priority.

It is a daily driver with no hard core rock climbing planned for at least 2 years.

Stage 1:

Pintler AEV 17x8.5 wheels
BFG KM2 LT285/70R17 tires (33")
OME 2" Lift
JKS front and rear track bars
JKS quicker disconnects

Stage 2:

ARB compressor+tire inflator
ARB rear locker
4.56 front and rear gears

Stage 3:

Rugged Ridge front and rear bumper (no tire carrier)
Rugged Ridge rock bars
Budget 10,000 lbs winch

Stage 4:

ARB front locker
skid plates to heart's desire

I think you have hit the nail on the head with the first two stages. I might consider just going up to 4.88 on the gears though. The biggest difference maker, in my opinion, is a good tire and wheel! Welcome to the forum! Just ask around whenever you have questions and someone will help you.

Welcome to the site. My main recommendation would be to bump up the winch a level or two.

There, I fixed it for ya... Might even contemplate BFG All Terrains if you're just gonna be hitting easy trails and DDing it.
