Default Ordered 2008 Rubicon

I ordered my Steel Blue Rubicon in August. It went to BX from BG in the first week of Sept. I hope things will speed up now. I have been anxious to register to JK-Forum. This is really useful. This is my first Jeep.

Red face Made a JK change

Canceled the Rubicon (production woes). I have an X (bought from the dealers lot).

welcome and don't knock the X. It might not have some bells and whistles but it will be pretty easy to add them on now that you have the vehicle for difference.

Question Thule Hitch bike Rack

I just received a new Thule hitch connection bike rack. The Spare tire is in the way. Is there a problem with the Rack or am I suppose to remove the spare tire, when using the rack?

did you buy one made for the jeep? if not I dont think it will work with the spare on which would suck if you got a flat...they make one that goes on the spare too

Unhappy Thule

I am trying to talk to Thule. I have looked, and I don't think there is a longer version. Looks like the Spare has to be off when I want to use the rack. I am not giving up. My neighbor knows a fabricator, might need his services. Answer to previous question, it is for my Jeep.

what I meant was if it was designed to be used on a jeep to clear the rear tire like this one

I wish, I would of seen that before. I am still going to try and get Thule to help me. I might have to return it. Thank you for the help!
