He currently has a 2.5" TeraFlex coil lift. I was asking him about them earlier to replace my 2.5" BB. The BB was given to me, I would gladly give it to somebody else. But its not a must that I get coils, I would just like the extra wheel travel as it seams I lift a tire 2-3 times on some trails.

edit: Hah, now I see he already posted. Hate it when I click the email and it results in skipping post :P

Can you post a picture of this combo? I am considering the same set up.

Thanks

I'm still running the stock rubber and I've gone everywhere my friends have gone with 35's/37's. You may need to take a different line or have someone spot, no big deal. Like another post stated...bragging rights

That being stated, when I melt off the stock rubber I will go 35's. 37's and up ultimately require a lot more money than just the cost of the rubber.

Big lifts and tires sure look tough on a Jeep though.

Thats my experience as well. Just requires a lot more spotting. I still make it generally, but I cannot just waltz through an obstacle like people on 37's do.

In my opinion, if you think you need 35s then you better just get a set. For my type of wheeling I don't always need a lift and 35s but when do I'm glad I have it.
Also 35s just look better!!

But remember, the RP lives out here and wants to wheel the trails that a bunch of us do which means rock crawling. If he is dragging his skids at Hollister then he is going to hammer them on trails like the Rubicon, Fordyce, etc.

A 4dr definitely needs lift to run any of the rocky trails out here. I get by with my small tires and such because I am in a 2dr, which helps a LOT. But a 4dr will scrape on the Rubicon even with quite a bit of lift. Fordyce is a whole other animal and I don't see him running that from what he has said. Unless he wants to go all out with 37's and such.
