Default Bald Mtn.

Well just got back from Bald Mtn. around 4:00 pm, the road up was very clear but the cutoff road to Bald mtn trailhead was all snow and ice...since I was by myself I only went about a mile or so but with two or more vehicles ( and my yank strap ) I would have tried to get to the Bald Mtn trailhead...maybe next time..was a beautiful day today though..about 58 degrees up there. After I came back down the road I just piddled around Shaver Lake a bit then headed up to Huntington Lake then back home.....maybe I should have done the Hollister trip today but at least I know Bald Mtn in do-able now...

Shoot me a PM next time your headed up and I will try to join you. I am planning on a Bald Mtn snow run in the next few weeks.

I too am wandering about the central California location we are in. We are a couple of hours too far north to be So Cal and a couple hours too far south to be Nor Cal.

Hopefully this summer we can plan some runs up to Coyote Lake, Swamp, Dusy, etc...!!

There is a San Joaquin thread in the SoCal stagging area. Mostly members here in Bakersfield post on it at this point.

Southern San Joaquin Valley

I would go for a CenCal group.
At this point i am in both NorCal and SoCal groups.
