After our little problem with Cyrus and him getting stuck. 09Rubicon came up with a great idea about starting a rescue thread.

The only problem is it would eventualy get off the front page and be forgotten. Can you make a sticky so we can all post our information. Thanks

We can't do it here for liability reasons.
I realize that the intentions for doing this are great but there are just way too many ways for this information to get into the wrong hands especially being that this is the internet.

I hope you understand.

I was kinda hoping for a little more than that answer.
Hell I can get anyones info over the internet.
I guess this means we just have to do it ourselves with no help from our fourm.

In the past this has posed a a problem on the forum.

I know that personally I am reluctant to post my number and location for the entire internet world to see.
There are just too many crazies out there.

If I have met you though and you don't have my number- PM me and I am happy to give it to you.

I'd suggest setting up an email notification group using Google, MSN, Yahoo groups or the like. That way it is opt-in, membership can be moderated and all info can be made private from non-members. Plus, those with smartphones having push email can get coordinate rescue efforts immediately.

 

nope, you guys can do this as it is your free will to do.

believe me, i know this really is lame but i cannot allow any of the moderators or area managers to help facilitate the distribution of personal contact info as it makes us liable. so you know, we have had lists of this nature up in the past and it did cause us some issues. needless to say, it is the reason why we do not allow it now. i wish it didn't have to be this way but i do hope you can be undestanding of our reasons.

I think anyone who posts thier info here is doing so to help out thier friends who they wheel with.
