Labor Day Weekend in MoAb
I just got my vacation reworked to get to Moab for the Labor Day Camp Out hosted by the Red Rock 4 Wheelers. I'm VERY excited!
I won't be able to make the Safari and I thought it was gonna be next summer/fall til I got back there until things fell into place for me yesterday at work!
I know Eddie's got plans for the Norcal/Socal forum members, but if anybody is interested I'm heading out either Wed August 26th or the 27th. I know at least a few forum members are going from UT.

I'm leaving Tuesday the 26th in the afternoon and arriving in Moab Wednesday. I will be returning Sunday the 31st. I plan on wheeling Thurs, Friday(Hell's Revenge) and doing Metal Masher on Saturday and possibly Golden Spike on Sunday.
I'm trying to hook up with someone to do Golden Spike on Friday and maybe leave a little earlier on Sunday. If that works, I'll do Hells Revenge on Thursday or Sunday.

My wife and kids will be going, one day in Moab I may get the trail to myself. There are a few others from JK-Forum going mostly from UT. There is guided trails on Saturday/Sunday and Monday by Red Rock 4 Wheelers so there should be plenty of Jeepers in town, but not as crazy as Safari week.
We(my family) got a condo with kitchen for around $150/night. You could camp at our place
There is camping at Sand Flats at some beautiful spots for like $10/night. You could probably get a decent hotel for around $80-100/night.

So you are planning on driving all the way through from Tuesday afternoon non stop till we are at Moab ? or planning on staying overnight half way there???
I have just found the cabin for $45 a night, 0.6mi away from where you are staying. and found a buddy to drive with me
I hope the reservation for the cabin still open...
