Exclamation Loon Lake area- missing person - Update

Sorry but I was given misinformation.
The person relaying the information I gave you before had it wrong.

The person missing is the older brother (not the 14 year old) ---> he is 25 years old.

His name is name is Mathew Kinney

Missing now 48 hours, this young man was dropped off at Loon Lake alone and his plan was to hike into the Horsetail falls area. (I am not familiar with the area of Horsetail falls, but it looks as though it is around the town of Twin Bridges/ Strawberry)

Description:

Age 25
Caucasian
6'1"
165-175lbs
Shaved head.

Pink tent (no joke)

I don't have any pictures, but thought I could spread the word to those that live in the vicinity.

It is worrisome that this person isn't on target time wise with his plan, but knowing that he isn't 14 years old is much more comforting.

I don't think there are Jeep trails where this boy was headed... but I am uncertain (I still don't have all the details).
~ I was hoping someone that knows the area would chime in.

On a lighter note, kids are amazingly resilient and resourceful... I betcha he is just running late.
Looks like he has some snow to deal with.

There weren't much snow only batches here and there above the Cadillac hill. But the evening temperature do drop down to freezing.

I hope this have a good turn out. Please keep us informed.

Exactly- alone is just ... well nuts that these parents would allow it.
I don't know the details or the parents though.
--->Just Sean's Co-worker who is only associated because his son is this boys best friend.
