...The person relaying the info to me had the wrong brother.

Being a strapping young man rather than a boy changes things a bit, I would think.

as far as the hike goes, loon lake to horsetail falls is a LONG hike and UPHILL. honestly, i don't think i could do it in 2 days.

Yeah from what I could tell, it does look like an intense hike through the Sierras.

Sean told me that Search & rescue is looking for him now. Planes & ground searchers.

I am still unclear as to what day this guy left- all I know is he is now considered 48 hours past his projected arrival time frame.

 

now that's more like it...14 and alone was sounding pretty bad...I hope it comes out ok

Last I was informed, he hasn't been found yet.

I would have postedd this yesterday, but my server went down.

The guy was found ~ He had sprained his ankle.
Other than that, he is fine and home safe.
