No Off-Roading for me for a while
The store cameras only cover the entrances, not the parking lot and I was way too far back to be in the picture.
And to make matters worse, I had to step over the RC 2.5" coil lift I was going to install this weekend to get out of my garage tonight.
MBAFT- Lets get that meet and greet rolling and I'll be happy to share some drinks.

I totally feel your pain - in fact, my JK is the first new vehicle I've owned NOT to get in some sort of (on-road) accident due to stupid drivers...
I really hope that your insurance company comes through for you somehow, and that somehow the police find the vehicle that did it. Can't they at least call around to local shops and ask them to report any vehicles that come in for body work with paint matching yours embedded in the damage?
Hope that something good comes your way to balance out the bad!

Dude, that totally sucks!
perhaps, if the 4x4 is really bad off, you can move the transfer case, front axles, etc to the 4x2, and vice versa, and drive a bent framed 4x2?
Its this very reason I am with good insurance though... seen it happen to a friend of mine once...
really sorry to hear that, I'm sure its just wrenching your stomach...

So a quick update:
Frame is bent, front axle is snapped, and the trans housing is cracked and a bunch more. Current estimate to repair is at 17k with below market rate labor.
State farm has offered to buy it off me as a salvage for 9k. Looks like I'm going to take the 9k and save up to get a new rubi. I just need to sell this one first.
For now on I'm not parking in San lorenzo unless it's right up with other cars or on my girlfriends lawn where they have to go through a tree to get to me!
