I had Home Depot cut the 2x4s cause its free and made it easier to get the boards home. From there it was just some screws. The padding on the parts that touch the top took the longest. I looked into all sorts of options, the cheapest was a door mat that I cut up to cover the areas that needed to be covered. I used a staple gun to hold it in place.

Its very stable and portable due to the casters. I would have no problem wheeling this around the garage and moving it when ever I wanted to.

Hope this helps..

Huck
Thanks! My Trektop just got delivered so now I need to build something for the hardtop. It's been hanging from my self built hoist for a week since I didn't feel like trying to drag it across the garage again on an old blanket. Home Depot here I come!!

Default 4" Lift Install

I installed 3" Black Diamond coils for a 4 door on a 2 door and it lifted it 4". I used Rubicon Express components and Bilstein 5100 shocks.

I now have stock Rubi springs, shocks & wheels and tires from a 2 door hard top, if anyone is interested.

I installed a vector offroad trail table and rear rack. I saw these in MOAB at EJS this year and had to have them. The rack is not complete yet as I had them build it with tabs and I am going to fab some thin plates in the open spaces to make it more solid. I also had them add extra tie down points all the way around to make straping stuff down easier. The quick fists did not come with the table, I added those just to see what it would look like. Its holding my flashlight now just as an example. To finish this up I also need to take the rack off and have the new slits for the rack double stitched so it doesn't spread.

I also rotated my tires this weekend. I think I over did it putting the one on the tire carrier. Those 40s are freakin heavy.
