As of today it looks like I may get a new rear top sometime in late March or April. Will have to wait and see.
Rear door? no make no more or something. they have no release date and have been BO for over 6 months. I got a clean used door and its on right now.
When the top comes in I will find out if if has all the glass in or not and when its on my jeep, I will let you know and we can work on a fair price.

It's too nice looking to go wheeling in. Nice Jeep.

...I'll admit - well deserved ribbing! Hope to use it for its purpose soon enough. Want to get all the ducks in a row first. Right now wiring up my CB for those group runs and dealing with some problems installing my sliders.

Nothing fancy just had my CB wiring adjusted. I was shorting out. Took it 49er Truck Stop off Hwy80 and they had me fixed in a jiffy! Those guys are awesome.

Added a temp gauge Autometer to monitor tyranny temp. After a week of driving I learned a lot.

Hwy 60-80mph.100-120degrees
City 20-40mph.120-150degrees
Heavy Traffic 0-20mph.140-180degrees
Climbing over Hwy17@45-60mph got as hot as 230degrees couldn't imagine if I was pulling a trailer.

Cooler w/ fan ordered goes on next weekend.

Cool. Let us know how the install goes. I've been sticking my head in the sand on this issue. Not being my DD, I don't drive it that much, but that's not going to mean squat if it goes. I have a SuperChips and keep hoping they activate the trans temp monitoring to see for myself. Just went to their forum and no eta yet...

Very interesting data. Thanks for posting this up - it makes my want to do this myself.

Oh, I great spellcheck substitution... "tyranny temp" is a good one
