Nor Cal What was done to your JK this week ???
I am still waiting on the cooler to come in. In the mean time I decided to change the gauge in the dash. Originally the gauge was positioned in the dash to left of the steering wheel, but the dash is somewhat angled away from the driver in that location and to look at the gauge while driving requires a bit of a duck and even then the top of the numbers is not visible. Autometer makes some angles gauge rings and so I bought a set. They come in threes (yet they sell the gauges in singles
. Anyway $12 later I had an angles ring and two backups. I sanded the back of the ring to better fit the curve of the dash for a tighter fit. In the new position the gauge is easily seen from the drivers seat with out any ducking. And in my opinion it looks better with the angle ring. It looks like it was supposed to go there versus a gauge cut into the dash, but that is my opinion...

I didn't post another project for the jeep I am working on. I just installed the latest CHR550 lock pic for my radio/navigation. This device is awesome. It allows for 4 camera inputs, Ipod/Ipad input, RCA input, Outputs to a secondary monitor, and it unlocks the DVD player in the dash, the ability to input navigation while in motion and watch DVD, Ipod/Ipad Video while in motion.
I have run wires for the rear camera. I have ordered the new LOD offroad Gen 3 Bumper and shipped them the camera. They are mounting the camera in the bumper for me, so when it arrives I just got to plug it in.
It is a real b*&(ch to install. It plugs in easily as described but there is not a ton of room behind the factory head unit for the device and the tons of wires going to it from cameras. I ran the wiring over to where the glove box area is and the lock pick is mounted up high next to the center console. here is doesn't interfere with the operation of the glove box and I can take the glove box out and get to just the lock pick easily to add new cameras etc.. Here are a couple of pics in the compartment. When my bumper comes in I will post pics of the new bumper and the backup camera in action. My goal is to mount a front camera and two undercarriage cameras for spotting when out by myself, and because its just cool!

Hey, I'm from EDH too! Did you flip the Curry tie rod? If so, I'm about to do it. Could you post some pics, or PM me with them? I'd like to see some details! Your rig looks SWEET!
Pure Jeep is made in CA, along with many of the others mentioned.
