Sierra trek is only the Fordyce trail and then gold lakes if you have a stock SUV. The first water crossing is the deepest so if you make one you can make the other two.
The night run I suggested crosses the red lakes blue lakes trail. That trail is over 9000 feet so I bet it's got plenty of snow.

My Wife works at Twain Harte market as a checker. So if you are ever up, and go there, good chance you will see her.
I cant believe how many people down there dont ever ski.
