Sierra trek is only the Fordyce trail and then gold lakes if you have a stock SUV. The first water crossing is the deepest so if you make one you can make the other two.

The night run I suggested crosses the red lakes blue lakes trail. That trail is over 9000 feet so I bet it's got plenty of snow.

I have lived in the area my whole life. Born in the Sonora area, lived in Twain Harte for 7 years, but just bought a house about 10 minutes away from TH.

The name doesn't ring a bell, but I would not be surprised if I have seen him. TH is a small community

Ya it is. That's why I had to ask. I figure theres probably a good age gap between us though. You ski at all?

Oddly enough... No. I live 30 minutes from Dodge, but I don't ski. But I do love living up here

My Wife works at Twain Harte market as a checker. So if you are ever up, and go there, good chance you will see her.

Closest I come to twain harte is when i go to walmart in sonora. Im rarely in Bear that long to need to go there these days. I cant believe how many people down there dont ever ski.
