OK. So ive always known it as blue lakes but its technically called deer valley, correct? did you know that was planned to be the pass for hwy 4 at one point? ebbetts pass was proposed as a possible train track.
never ran it but always wanted to. someone posted some pics up when they ran it last week or two. still a good amount of snow.

 

Deer valley is a 4wd trail. Red lakes/blue lakes is a dirt road that any stock SUV could make so long as the snow has melted.

The Deer valley trail runs from Blue Lakes over to hwy 4.

Hopefully this is more clear than my last post attempt.
