Caster can be checked with an angle finder provided you are on perfectly flat ground (Like a concrete slab). Then to change it you adjust the lower control arms. Well, you can use the uppers to adjust, but most do not have enough adjustment. Sometimes you need to do a combination of the two.

Got the jeep back. 5 days in the shop and they did nothing. They said the wheels are so bent they refuse to balance them. For some reason they put 40 psi in the tires. Charged me $125 and it cost me $280 for a rental car. Limped it over to big 0 tire and getting the wheels balanced.

Next time you need to take it to a shop in the area, let me know. 40 psi is going to make it drive horribly, it will worsen the DW in most cases.

I am off work in an hour, if you are still in the area, give me a ring.

Soooo big 0 had no issue balancing the tires and they dropped it down to 28psi. Seems to be driving just fine! Still a little flighty though. I cant believe thats what was wrong! Im going to get some alloy wheels. Mine are an eyesore anyways. I still meed to get together with some of you guys and get a reputable diagnosis.

A friend said to once, "Brock, if it wasnt for bad luck, youd have no luck."

It was 5:30. Nobody was open. Im 45 minutes from home with almost nothing in between. Theres a new shop in Avery I drove past. I saw a guy closing the shop door and I pulled over. He was closed and just cracked open a beer. Born and raised local he knew the urgency. Heres what we found...

Ya thats a weight. Big 0 put the wrong kind of weight on. Came off the front and went through the rear. I think Big 0 owes me a tire.
He patched up my tire and refused money. I had to force $30 into his hand. Daves Pit Stop. Its a one man show. He wheels jeeps. Honest and friendly. After dealing with incompetent assholes this fuy really shines.
