Nice shop that helped you out! Gotta remember that place if I am ever in need up there. I prefer the stick on weights on the inside of the tire, but a lot of other people don't

I run the "inside" weights as well. You don't grind them off while wheeling!

My guess is that they installed the weight wrong. Or it was for a different sized wheel. But wow is that a big weight!

The internal stick on weights are typically not effective on steel wheels do to the weight of a steel wheel. But are certainly the way to go on aluminum wheels.

And if you have to go to a shop again up here, let me know. Shop about a 1/2 mile from where I work that I have been using for many years. Also locally owned and been in business for ages.

Well, I wouldn't say anywhere, just any of those sucky places :P

That weight Big-O put on is for an aluminum wheel, which has a thicker rim. And the guys they hire there are a bunch of flunkies. I got to Doherty Tires in Standard. Most of the guys there have been working their for a really long time and know their stuff. In the ten years I have been using them, never had a single issue. Well except that they refuse to balance Bias Ply TSL's. Not that this was a horrible thing for me, as I have never had any vibrations from my swampers (On other Jeep). But I think I am just really lucky.
