One of the parts that has bothered me in the past is the over the top of little sleuce. You by-pass little sleuce but re-enter the trail once past the top of it. There are some ledges and a boulders (depending on the re-entry line you take). Also, there are off camber spots that used to make me queezy. Last, the climb up cadillac has two ledge/steep climbs that can be especially challenging if they get wet from rain.

Again, patience and staying with a group offers good support.

Remember that stock 4 doors make it across in the jamboree so a 2 door can do it too - even without all the rock stacking they do.

Oh, I forgot to mention that my avatar is from old sleuce. This is the actual trail that people by-pass via the slabs, which is not part of the trail. You should at least walk this part of the trail. It is the best part in my opinion.

Hey NorCal guys,

I just saw this thread. I was planning to post up a SoCal run to the Rubicon on July 9th...Unless you object, sounds like it would be an awesome time!

Sweet! Really looking forward to it. For now, you can add me ("CALIJK") and my son ("modestoperandi") to the run. We will see who else we can get to join us.
