Default 4x4 shop in WA

I am new to WA, live around FT. Lewis area, wondering if anyone recommends a good shop to do work on my JK. Looking to re-gear and am tired of feeling over charged by 4wheel parts for stuff. Any recommendations would be great!

Yup. Watch for specials - They did my gears for $1k including parts and labor.

Hard to beat their prices on accessories too

Northridge is very good. I also recommend Olympic 4x4 in Snohomish. They did a great job customizing my Jeep's rack.

A friend of my told me to call Northridge to get a quote on 5.13 gears for my 2014 JKU sport (that's where he got his Rubi done as 4WheelParts was too expensive) and I was quoted $1250 before tax out the door which includes install. The parts they use are Yukon gears with Motive master overhaul kits and Lucas oil. Since I live in Lynnwood, I didn't want to have to plan a day out across the water, so I went to Lynnwood 4WheelParts to see what they could do. They quoted me $2194.00 before tax out the door with install using G2 gears and overhaul with Lucas oil. I told them about the price that Northridge quoted and they were happy to work with me. After 15 minutes, they came back and quoted me less than Northridge and it included a "no questions" lifetime warranty on top of the G2 10year gear warranty. They said they could do Yukon gears but the G2 had the better warranty and they are pretty solid these days. I decided to get the G2's because of the warranty. They both get their gears from Randy's Ring and Pinion from what they told me. I gladly accepted and went with 4WheelParts since they are about 2 miles from where I live. 5.13's will be installed this week and out the door for ~$1480.00 after tax. I had to get a front carrier for the D30 to run the 5.13's since I had the stock 3.21. That was an extra $125. Northridge quoted the same price for the carrier and it was on top of the $1250.

Just as a note. I wasn't using Northridge for leverage, I was calling around for quotes and seeing what would be the best compromise between cost and my time. The local 4WheelParts folks here in Lynnwood have been very good to me and have always tried to give me a competitive or better price than whats on the internet or at local stores. I have purchased quite a bit from both places and I used to buy mostly from Northridge since they keep things stocked. 4WheelParts lately has a lot of stock on hand, which is nice for instant gratification.

Anyways, I just wanted to throw that out there to give you some options and my opinion. I know there are a lot of opinions that could go either way on brand or shop.

Happy Jeepin'.

That's good advice, haven't had to deal with 4wheelparts here yet, in Oklahoma it was horrible.

Noticed you had some pics of your jeep on the beach, dont mind me ask where is that in WA?
