Hang in there gang, we got our weather bout with Hurricane Ike last year . Saw this post, made me miss WA. We did a week vacation there about 15 yrs ago, Northwest Track, Carbon Glacier, drove up to Paradise Lodge on Mt. Rainier..I walked up another 300 feet and thought I was going to die ...friggin Texans are used to sea level

anyway...Good luck with your weather!

We're in Olympia. High ground. Lots of water around us. I-5 was closed for a few days down near Tenino.

Got my motor home good and stuck when I was moving it to a different storage location Saturday. Didn't have the JK handy, but I was able to use my old Dodge Power Wagon to pull it out. Sorry to say, I didn't have a camera handy either, so no pictures, but it was REALLY STUCK! -- the front tires sunk so deep that I couldn't steer.

Aside from that, everything is fine except my Internet connection has been down more often than not and the ISP said not to expect things to get better until sometime next week.

By the way, when I lived in New Mexico, which has several pretty good ski areas, a popular bumper sticker read "If God intended for Texans to ski, he would have given them a Mountain". Don't know what that was about, but it suddenly seemed appropriate
