Four of us are heading down this afternoon and spending the night in Forest Grove. We'll see you other JK folk at 8ish or so at Browns Camp. If we can't register we can just organize our own JK group. You will recognize us; 1 Orange Crush JKUR, 2 Black JKURs with JK forum decals and one new to our friend JKU but I haven't seen the color yet. All are built up pretty well and 3 of the 4 have done the Rubicon this past summer.

From the looks of things around here, it's gonna be a slickery mess! Get your pressure washers tuned up.

The 100 maximum is pretty loose: we won't turn anyone away.
Glad to see all of the enthusiasm on this site.
Event is still on; trails are open! Registration is 7-9 tonight and 7-8:30 tomorrow morning.

Hey guys don't forget your ohv permits, there is a shell station on highway six right before you head up the hill towards browns camp that sells them. See you all tomorrow!

Well we had a great day, met with some fellow JKers from the north, all nice guys. Didn't break anything, always a plus! Got to spend a quality day with my family in the jeep it just doesn't get much better then that. And my twins won first prize for the kids costume contest too!

Apache....no winners for either of us on the winch raffle sorry I would have liked to give you better news, I did draw a nice kershaw knife though in the general raffle. Take care, hope to meet you guys out on the trail again.

Congrats on the costume win! It was good to meet you guys and get some T'mook wheelin' in... Some of those trail sections are insane when wet. Looking forward to coming back.

The trail was rocky uphill. The 4 of us Seattle rigs also ran little rubicon. Two of us ran airplane hill in a little snow and wow was that wild. A bit of winch fest with it being super slick; will return in drier weather to run it again when we can crawl through it with traction. I don't recommend can opener or airplane hill when sloppy wet as they were white knucklers and winch fests for us.
