I was thinking about taking my 07 JK Rubi 4 door on this run also. The only problem is that last time I went up to Browns Camp I broke my evap canister, and that was on the easy trails. I don’t have much mod’s and no lift yet, soon I hope but not yet.

 

When f100Jeeper, Outdoors and I went there last month, the one with a lift did
manage to knock his evap canister loose, but was able to reattach it on the trail.
Since that trip, I've gone from the standard X 16" rims and tires, which I would
guess are around 30" diameter, to Sahara 18" rims with Bridgestone Duelers that I
think are about 32" for an added 1" increase or so in clearance. Even with the old
tires, I was able to do most of firebreak 5 with the rest of the group.

I'm going to the Halloween Poker run to have fun, do the trails I feel comfortable
with and meet some more JK-Forum members. Hope to see you there!

Bump for bumps sake and notice that it seams like Rhonda and I are going to be the only ones comming from our area and our 2 4x4 clubs. I would like to make a JK crew for this if possible.

I'm driving up EARLY Saturday morning -- we should be at Brown's Camp around 7AM. I'm planning on taking the doors off and cabling them together for the day.

If I don't spot you beforehand, I'll try giving you a call -- just not sure about the cell reception at Browns Camp. I will have a hand held CB with me also (will leave it on CH 19 to start)

We both have our regular mounted cb's in the jeeps and i will put mine on 19, our usuall channel is 4, fyi.

 

We will be heading up Saturday morning also. We are coming up from Salem and we will have our CB on and turned to 19. See you all there

 

We are leaving from Salem at the Market Street & I-5 Park and Ride (next to Red Lion) at 5:30AM.
