Jeepsterjr and I made it back to Salem Saturday night without incident, although the compressor at the Gales Creek Shell station was broken, so we couldn't air up until we got to McMinville.

As those of you who attended already know, my carnage consisted of shredding both sides of My Sahara steps and relocating my Evap to a garbage sack in the back of my JK. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

HOLY COW!!! Kinda makes me glad I wasn't able to make it... just a bit.

How'd those tires hold up for you?

Love to hear a rundown of the day.

I don't exactly remember the trail name. It was pretty intense -- we were trying to run 7 or 8 trails in the poker run and a couple of them were double diamond. We also got lost a couple of times and that put a lot of pressure on us to finish on time.

I made it all the way through firebreak five -- just bypassed the rock garden as did almost everyone else. Chickened out on a wicked downhill with a drop off about a three foot ledge that jkkat's (Rubydoo) friend Rhonda not only went over and down to the end, but turned around and drove/winched her way back to the top. Those girls took us to school -- very impressive. In fact, we gave Rhonda's powerplant a real workout as she pulled me out of at least one bolder field.

New pics of it getting fixed. The guy in the last pic is a freind of mine who also works for Town & country jeep in seattle. She is all fixed and works good now, just need to get the bars that are on order here.

Was very important, Track bar bracket keeps your axle in place from side to side. She is all fixed now, New Tie rod and drag link came in today and were installed.
