Default July 2nd (Sat) trail run on Fortune Creek?

I'm thinking about running the Fortune Creek trail on Saturday. Anyone interested?

I want to do this run this summer, but I cannot make it this weekend, maybe in 2 or 3 weeks.

We are meeting up at the trail head at 10:30am, Saturday the 2nd. If you have an FRS radio we will be using channel 6. If I can pick up a CB before then, it will be on channel 22.

We will wait about 10 minutes before heading up the trail.

If you plan on going make a post here and I will keep an eye out for you.

Glad I just noticed this, we were planning on being in cle elum this weekend at some point - was thinking about something at Liberty, but Fortune Creek is fun too - wonder if it will be snow free all the way to the lake ?

I've got a black 08 rubi 2door and will try and be there by 10:30. Got a little toddler in tow - so it's sometimes a challenge to get places on time ; -)

Thanks for the invite Bill, looking forward to meeting some local folks, hope a few more can make it. I've got a CB, but no FRS

Cheers,
John

ps. If the weather is nice and it's not *too* muddy might ditch the doors at the trailhead

Don't know the route you are taking, but HWY410 at Cayuse Pass is closed...Avalanche. Just heard it on the radio,

Sorry about that, I forgot to post an update here. Yes, we had some issues. We had to use the chain saw and a couple of winches to move a tree. Then we hit snow.

Still a fun day. In a couple of weeks it should be clear, it might even be clear now.
