I went back last weekend (7/16) and we only made it about 1/4 mile beyond our high point from the previous week with MysticAlpa . We hiked the remaining distance to the lake - that took about 40 minutes. I suppose it could have all melted in a week .. but there was a lot of snow up there. Either way it's a fun hike to the lake.
