Mt.Hood X-mas tree run DEC 12th Sat.
DEC 11th...This Saturday.
When
December 11th, Saturday
Where
MT. Hood Nat'l Forest
Meet Up
Estacada Ranger Station...
http://www.communitywalk.com/locatio...tations/177687
Time
930am, departing no later then 10am.
Requirements: For this run you should have
1.Tow points front and rear.
2.Spare tire and jack that is functional.
3. Pack some water and snacks, and extra warm clothes and a blanket if possible, it always makes it more fun if people are always warm enough!
Recommendations: For this run it would be nice if you had a
1. CB radio or a small GMRS/FRS type radio.
I always bring an extra hand held radio, if someone wants to borrow it for this run, you can.
As you progress going on trails with others, you will see the need for communications as a basic item to have. This trip will be a "basic run" so please come if you have never been on a run as well. I won't be getting a tree myself but will enjoy the trip.
If you would please acknowlege here you are going so we know how many to expect, that would help us in planning the trip.
There is no limit per say, just looking at what routes we will be taking with the type of vehicles we will have as well. Hope you can make it.

It was snow with rain all day. Made for some interesting wheeling.
A few pictures.
Here's Outdoors, our friend Alvey in his Bronco and Erik or John in a chopped 4 Runner.

Me trying out a hill climb.

The group getting out and stretching their legs.
