@fatboy maybe next week? I'm on my way to AZ right now to wheel, wouldn't mind a day at the mook on my way back next week. Are you available on school days?

@wlfmon, thank you

I needed to take the pumpkin out for a shakedown cruise, so I headed out for some winter wheeling in AZ. I'm 1600 miles into the road trip and spent yesterday running Crown King, north of Phoenix. 2 things I've learned so far:
1) Nitto Mud Grapplers do well in the snow (pleasant surprise)
2) Coil overs work as advertised. My #1 reason for making the switch was to improve the handling on washboard roads. Even though only the fronts are done so far, the improvement is significant. I can do 40+ on rough stuff without the jeep feeling like its shaking itself apart. The extra flex is ok too!

Sweet. The flex looks great. Where did you run into snow?

Up at the top just outside of Crown King itself.... It's over 5k elevation, and the high tempt yesterday was 30 degrees!

This is an awesome build. Did you drive down to AZ or trailer it? I will be adding coilovers to my build list. I'm sure if they handle the wash board roads pavement has to be better too.

Yep, coilovers are great on and off road. Mine have 25,000 miles on them and what pleasure; driven to both Moab and the Rubicon; flexed over big stuff with comfy ride over everything; no trailer queen necessary.

Thank you, it's my 2nd JK so I had a better idea what I wanted to do with it.
I drove it all 1500 miles down it's too much fun not to. The ride quality is impressive and I don't regret the choice.
